Water is a precious resource serving as the lifeblood of rural communities worldwide. It’s essential to sustaining life, providing clean drinking water, and enabling successful agricultural practices. Many communities cannot advance economically without reliable water sources, creating a cycle of poverty.
Access to safe, reliable water sources is a major challenge in rural areas, and one HydroLOGICA has taken on with passion. Our company is committed to helping alleviate the global water crisis through water-well drilling and hydrological studies. We’ve already had positive impacts in rural areas of Nicaragua, where we’re focusing our efforts to make a real difference. Contact us to learn more.
Get To Know Our Founders’ Mission
In 2010, Brandon Stone had the opportunity to serve as a missionary in Haiti. Unfortunately, he soon discovered how dire their lack of clean drinking water was when a large cholera outbreak struck. Without hesitation, he immediately established an efficient clinic to help the community.
After witnessing the devastating effects of inadequate access to clean water, he joined Living Water International, a non-profit organization focusing on clean water projects. He began as a driller but, thanks to his hard work and dedication, was promoted to organizational management. This role eventually led him to Nicaragua, where he still continues this vital work.
In 2014, Michael Montgomery and Robert Stone joined forces to form HydroLOGICA. With Montgomery’s oil and gas experience, they decided Nicaragua was their ideal location. They aim to revolutionize the water well industry through technical expertise and leadership. The lack of geological data posed a challenge, but that didn’t stop them! Using geophysics and hydrogeological investigations, they’ve been able to locate high-producing wells.
HydroLOGICA’s Impact On Nicaraguan Communities
In Las Palomas, a 2019 study by OneWorld Health: Nicaragua uncovered the far-reaching impact of providing access to clean water. Before HydroLOGICA’s new well was completed, stools and urine samples were taken from residents. A remarkable 76.6 percent decrease in parasitic cysts was found among them! In addition, the bacterial flora for the community improved in a 100% – demonstrating how something so simple as fresh water can make all the difference to these people’s lives.
While other drillers take weeks or even months to complete their wells, HydroLOGICA can provide exceptional results in a fraction of the time. We work fast and efficiently- showing up on site, setting up within half a day, drilling out overburden, and finishing in three days.
